One week till THANKSGIVING!!!! I Love Thanksgiving, and I refuse to overlook it by decorating for Christmas! We usually decorate the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, all though my daughter did go dig through all the Christmas decorations and decorated her room LAST WEEK.
I enjoy Thanksgiving because our family comes together to eat and hang out, that is the only purpose of the day, spending time together. My family rotates years between my side of the family and my husband's side. I’m grateful that my mother and Mother in law still host and do the majority of the cooking, not ready to take that job over yet!
This year I'm thankful for my family's health during this crazy year. I’m also thankful for finding the FASTer Way community. The support and encouragement from this community has not only motivated me to take control of my health, but to also step out of my comfort zone and share this company with others to help them feel good, and learn how to fuel their bodies! If you want to be inspired follow #fasterwaytofatloss on IG and you will see all the positivity and support from this community.

Roasted Lemon and Garlic Chicken Quarters - The chicken quarters make an excellent dish to serve for any day, but cook time is a little longer, so I usually save this for a weekend meal. Cook extra and you can pull it from the bone and have shredded rotisserie chicken for the week. Steamed carrots and baked or mashed potatoes are my kids favorite sides to this meal.
Grilled Chicken and Veggies - I have become a big fan of this Fajita chicken Marinate so i use it all the time. You could do baked chicken also. Bigfoot will grill and I'll roast a bunch of veggies (asparagus, green beans, broccoli, onions) in the oven. And all that means...EASY CLEAN UP!
Shrimp, Mango, & Avocado Salad (FWTFL)- this is similar to the shrimp tacos last week, but I'm going to give the Mango twist a try. When you sign up to be a member of the FASTer Way you receive access to their weekly meal (3 meals a day) plan through their app.
Outback Steakhouse Alice Spring Chicken - This chicken dish is dead simple and a healthy alternative to the restaurant style version.
Coke Meatballs & Mashed Potatoes - this is an alternative to meatloaf. This is not exactly a “Whole foods” meal for all the FWTFL clients, but it's worth it. My family is split on this one. Some prefer regular meatloaf and the others prefer Coke Meatballs. They like this paired with mashed potatoes and green beans.
Hamburger Steak - the kids will request this dinner. They call it “Smothered Steak” sometimes or the “hamburger patties covered in gravy and onions” thing. Our sides for this dinner are usually rice and broccoli.
Homemade Pizza - Pizza dough (needs to rise for 1.5 to 2 hours) or use a store bought flatbread. Then add your favorite jar of marinara, or pizza sauce and toppings. We try to recreate Mod Pizza, so I have a pizza bar set up and each kid makes their own pizza. Our go to pizza toppings: Pepperoni, cooked bacon, ground beef, black olives, onions, bell peppers, spinach, and cheese. My Daughter in Law, Cory Jo, took it to the next level last time we had this and made a garlic Italian seasoning butter sauce and brushed the crust, so good! I highly recommend it.
Take sometime this week and write down 3 things you are grateful for and 3 goals you have for the last 7 weeks of 2020! I would love for you to share these on social media and tag me IG @Cindyphillips4 or on Facebook.
For those of you who have been on the fence about joining the FASTer Way, our next round will be January 5th! I hope you will take the leap and join us on the journey to more energy, better sleep and disease prevention with a bonus of fat loss :) If you have questions, let me know!
Best Wishes,
Cindy
