Let the crazy time of year begin! I hope you all get to spend some time with family and recharge your battery some as we kick off the holidays. If you guys are like me, it's hard for me to stay motivated to cook during this time of year. I try to keep it simple and include as many Crockpot meals as possible. For this week I moved a Crockpot meal to the weekend, so that it can cook all day and I can relax!

Pot Roast in the Crockpot - This is a simple crock pot meal, it is simply a chuck roast with potatoes and carrots, super simple and an easy weekday meal! Depending on time, you could sear the roast before adding it to the crockpot. But let's be honest, the majority of the time, I chuck the frozen roast in the crock pot before work, and still turns out great.
Monterey Chicken -My family loves this chicken! Instead of frying bacon and making a mess in my kitchen, I cook the bacon in the oven. Cover a cookie sheet with foil for an easy clean up. But i have been known to skip that too and use real bacon bits and it turns out just as good!! Add jalapenos on top for some spice. My regular sides with this are mashed potatoes and Broccoli. (Low carb day , I skip the the Mashed potatoes)
Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla - is a staple recipe year round! I’m sure you have a recipe already. It’s easy to prepare on a busy night. FASTer Way Clients i would suggest adding avocado to bump up the fat.
Orange chicken- I buy Crazy Cuizine from Costco in the freezer section, and there is enough for 2 meals. I make white rice the night before and store it in the fridge overnight to make homemade fried rice, with some oil, onion, scrambled egg, and whatever veggies you like. My family prefers peas and carrots in the fried rice so I usually make stir fry veggies on the side (side note: I don’t like eggs, so no fried rice for me, I’ll have white rice and veggies) here is a Fried Rice Recipe as an option
THANKSGIVING
Leftover Turkey and Veggies - I would just call this a leftover day for your family. After all the cooking on Thursday, who wants to cook again :) FASTer Way clients, Hit those macros, but don’t eat like a Jerk. LOL
Chicken Wings - Making chicken wings in the oven is actually quite easy. This recipe gives you lots of tips. You could also use an airfryer, or order take out. Just be mindful of the sauces. I prefer mine dry with salt and pepper!
For those of you who have been on the fence about joining the FASTer Way, our next round will be January 5th! I hope you will take the leap and join us on the journey to more energy, better sleep and disease prevention with a bonus of fat loss :) If you have questions, let me know!
Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving.
Best Wishes,
Cindy
